The Multilateral Fund and Bilateral cooperation between the Government of Sweden has provided financial assistance at 988,750 US dollars to the Government of Thailand by the Department of Industrial Works for implementing Halon phaseout projects including the study of and defining guidelines for Halon storage for future use.

          The Department of Industrial Works has established 2 Halon projects; 1. Halon Management and Banking Program, and 2. Terminal Halon 1211 and Halon 1301 phaseout project for fire equipment manufacturers and suppliers
