Thailand, by the Department of Industrial Works has been endorsed a fund between 1993 to 2000 from the Multilateral Fund at 18,126,723 US dollars and from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) at 2,500,000 US dollars for assisting enterprises in refrigerator industries which are found to use CFCs in their production process and services. This assistance provides to industries including household refrigerator, commercial refrigerator, mobile air conditioner and chiller for totaling 23 projects or accounted to ODS phaseout for 1,378.55 ODP tonnes.
